What’s the deal with real estate agent photos on for sale signs?
Dovetonsils asked:
Does that actually increase sales? Is it an ego trip for the agent? What am I supposed to think when I see a photo of a real estate agent on a sign - wow, that looks like a nice agent, it must be a nice house? When exactly did this start - I remember when they started putting the agent’s names on the sign, I thought that was just to help identify the house when you called.

I think it’s more a networking thing. They get their face known by other realtors.
Teens! Moms! Answer yes/no survey questions online. Each survey is only 3 minutes long. Get paid for your opinions. It’s that simple. A check is sent to your house. Great way for teens and moms to get spending money. No scam here! Free! No cost to you.
It is branding. We have a couple prominent realtors in my area and they do that or they have a logo that you would recognize as their property.
It is top of mind awareness. If you see someone’s face, you are more likely to remember their name; therefore, more likely to call them when you need a realtor.
