I am moving to New York City, at the end of the school year (last year in college), and I have a degree in Real Estate. I was wondering how much does being a real estate agent get paid in New York City?

Same as any other agent.
You get a commission only if you sell something.
I hope you aren’t thinking you would be getting a monthly salary?
If you are asking what the commission split would be, that is up to each individual broker and office. You would have to do some research when you get there.
They work on commission. The average is 6% of the sale price
If you have a degree in real estate, you should already know that almost all real estate agents are paid on commission and have to pay their own expenses. So the bad ones make less than nothing, and the good ones have unlimited income. Don’t they cover this very basic concept in your classes?
ZERO to millions. Depends on how good you are.
